Smart Shield, for client computers offers complete safety against malware and malicious users while reducing IT helpdesk requests and costs by 80% - 90%. Smart Shield achieves this by ensuring all changes made to a client machine are removed upon system restart, thus making unauthorized changes impossible. Smart Shield is password protected and our password has never been compromised. This is the same protection that is currently being used by our troops in both Iraq and Afghanistan. Your PC infrastructure will operate smoothly and reliably in a pristine operating state every time. SmartShield runs on the XP, Vista and Windows 7 platforms.

Smart Control Resource Manager (SCRM) simplifies and enhances network management and system deployment. System updates and changes can be made easily to all of PC’s at one time. This eliminates having to touch every PC every time an update has to be made to your PC infrastructure.

Smart Control Resource Manager provides the following:

• User defined groups for ease of management
• Inventory filtering allows for control by custom requirements
• Remote execute and deployment of software and scripts
• System reboot, shutdown, and Wake-on-LAN capabilities
• Keyboard, mouse, and screen blocking to retain complete security during updates
• Complete USB blocking capability
• Ability to enable or disable protection for all machines at one time
• Can create and edit schedules when you need to update your PC’s
• Allows for remote screen viewing with the ability to chat with students
• Able to schedule updates at any time of the day or night
• Can reduce not only energy cost, but also kWh usage

The following modules are available to you and are managed through the Smart Control Resource Manager:

ScreenView™: Gives the instructor the tool they need to easily keep their students on task and productive with the following:

• Arrange and view student screens in real-time
• Custom thumbnail positioning lets teachers configure their screen to match their classroom layout
• Remotely launch any executable files on student workstations
• Custom Startup parameters let teachers specify what the program does after it starts
• Create chat sessions with individual students, groups of students or the whole classroom. Teachers can create multiple chat sessions simultaneously
• Block keyboard and mouse access to specified students with custom messages
• Block specific USB devices from accessing the computer (i.e. allow USB storage drives but block mp3 players)
• Shutdown, restart or wake-on-lan student workstations

Energy Saver: Gives network administrators the power to quickly and efficiently manage all aspects of their workstation energy usage. Combine the ability to automatically power down idle workstations with advanced tracking and reporting. Energy saver is the perfect tool for tracking, documenting and managing your workstation energy consumption. Allows you to create energy profiles for different hardware configurations to ensure accurate reporting. Both energy savings and cost savings can be tracked over any period of time using the reporting window. All data can be exported to a .csv format to be used with EXCEL and ACCESS reporting tools to report savings to your local utility company.

Advanced Scheduler: Scheduling Made Easy! Scheduling is one of the most powerful features of our product. With quality schedules, administrators can automate virtually every aspect of day-to-day system software maintenance and upkeep. Advanced Scheduler takes the powerful scheduling tools already built into the Smart Control Resource Manager and makes them even more useful by adding more scheduling options as well as a scheduling wizard to simplify schedule creation. Schedules can be created and edited in relatively little time.
